Part IV ~ Lesson 1 of 4 – Wrath of God

The Sequence of Endtime Events

Equipping God's Saints (Followers of Christ) through the prophecies of the End Times …

We previously learned about the Wrath of Satan, known as the Great Tribulation. Now we are going to learn about the Wrath of God, which immediately follows the Great Tribulation.

Before we plunge in, let's do a quick review …

You remember that we began this whole study by comparing the 6^th Trumpet, 7^th Seal and All the Vials. This is where we discovered the Wrath of God takes place. We learned about other references discussing this time period called the Wrath of God:

• 6^th Seal
• 7^th Trumpet
• 7^th Vial
• Matthew 24:29
• Ezekiel 38:18-22

Matthew 24 where Jesus Christ said that immediately after the Tribulation the sun should be darkened, the moon shall not give her light, the stars will fall from heaven. We have proven that these are the things that happen under the Vials and that the Vials contain the Wrath of God.

Ezekiel 38 we found out about the battle of Gog and Magog, which is also the Battle of Armageddon. We see the great hail, the great earthquake, the fury, the Wrath of God. Ezekiel 38 is simply another parallel passage to the others we have seen.

We started out with the teachings of the Wrath of God and we have come full circle. We will now put full focus on the Wrath of God. We did that in order to point out that the 6^th Seal, 7^th Trumpet and 7^th Vial are all the same time and that's what wraps everything up in the endtime.

• The Seals being the Long Story, ending at the Battle of Armageddon
• The Trumpets being the Shorter Story ending at the Battle of Armageddon
• The Vials being the Really Short Story ending at the Battle of Armageddon.

We are seeing that the Wrath of Satan, which is the 3 ½ years known as the Great Tribulation immediately followed by a short period of time known as the Wrath of God ~ all culminating at the Battle of Armageddon.

Some of the things that happen during the Wrath of God that we have already reviewed are:

• Earthquakes
• Sun black
• Moon blood
• Stars fall
• Mountains & Islands are moved
• God's Wrath
• Great voices
• Great hail
• Lightnings, voices, thunderings

What we are going to talk about now is a source of confusion to a lot of people when they begin to deal with the “Coming of the Lord”, the “Rapture of the Church”, etc. We are going to discuss 4 terms and make sure everyone understands. What are they? … Are they the same thing? … Are they different occurances? We will be talking about:

• God's Wrath
• Day of the Lord
• Coming of the Lord
• Coming as a thief

We will be going through scriptures that use these terms. It is very important that we don't form an opinion, but that we see what the Bible has to say about it.
