The Sequence of Endtime Events

Equipping God's Saints (Believers of Christ) through the prophecies of the End Times …

The first scripture we will discuss is the 6^th Seal. We won't go through all the Seals at this time. We want to keep our focus on these 5 passages.

We will start at Revelation 6:12-17:

“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb.

For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”

This is bad news. Everything is wrapping up. The great day of His Wrath has come.

Notice the issues of the 6^th Seal:

• Great earthquakes
• Sun became black
• Moon became blood
• Stars of heaven fell to earth
• Mountains and islands were moved
• The great day of His wrath is come

The 3 issues ~ Sun, Moon, Stars ~ all provide light, yet they all go dark.

Mountains and islands were moved. Stars of heaven fell to earth. You're talking about major upheavel here on earth. A great displacement. It's going to happen.
The great day of His wrath is come. When we talk about the great day of God's Wrath, I am going to explain the difference between the Wrath of God and the Wrath of Satan. You are going to learn that the Great Tribulation is the Wrath of Satan and the Wrath of God immediately follows the Great Tribulation. Understanding this will help make things much clearer.

We will also discuss where “The Day of the Lord” fits in. We see that term all throughout scripture. Placing that will then make total sense.

Looking at the issues of the 6^th Seal, we will now continue to compare these other passages. We will then conclude that these are different accounts of the exact same event. Once this is concluded, it will unlock for you the order in which the Book of Revelation is written.

Moving to the next passage, The 7^th Trumpet, Revelation 11:15-19 says:

“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and has reigned.

And the nations were angry, and they wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament; and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.”

Notice the issues of the 7^th Trumpet:

• An earthquake
• Thy wrath is come
• Great voices in heaven
• Lightnings, voices, thunderings
• Great hail

Once we establish when the Wrath is come, we are going to know exactly when these things are. As we continue on, we will do just that.

You will notice as we go through this that not every single thing that happens in one instance is repeated in the other. This does not necessarily mean that it did not also happen there. We were not given an unabridged explanation of every single blow-by-blow thing that happened. But there are enough of things that correspond, each to the other, enough that match, that we are going to be able to conclude when we are done that this is the exact same occurance.

Just in the two passages we have already discussed, there are two common elements. Both have a Great Earthquake and both are the Wrath of God. As we go through the rest of the scriptures, we are going to see the issues that may not match in these two passages, all come together; they are all going to gel.

That is the reason why this is all so important. Once you see how it all interlocks, it's going to really help you to say that you know these are the same event.

If you don't get this established in your mind, the Book of Revelation is just going to be a mangled mass of information to you. Once you are able to say, “OK. I know where I am when I'm at the 6^th Seal. I know where I am when I'm at the 7^th Trumpet. I know where I am when I'm at the 7^th Vial,” that is when you will be able to start putting it all together. That will allow you to understand things that you have never been able to understand, before.

We will now move on to the 7^th Vial.
