Part II ~ Lesson 3 of 6 – Seals, Trumpets and Vials

The Sequence of Endtime Events

Equipping God's Saints (Followers of Christ) through the prophecies of the End Times …

We are now going to continue with Revelation 15:5-8, which sets up the pouring out of the Vials:

“And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

And the seven angels came out of the temple having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.

And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.”

We have seen that Chapter 15 gives us an introduction to the Vials. Then in Chapter 16, the Vials are going to actually be poured out.

To save on confusion, before we go further, lets pull all that we have about the 7 Seals, the 7 Trumpets and the 7 Vials, together.

We know we have:

• The Seals are the Long Story ending at Armageddon.
• The Trumpets are the Shorter Story ending at Armageddon.
• The Vials, that happen under the 7^th Trumpet, are the Really Short Story ending at Armageddon.

Revelation 16:1-2 begin to describe these Vials to us:

“And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth, and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.”

This is God's wrath. We know of God's grace, but this is not a God of grace, here. This is a God of wrath. He's saying that it is time for judgement; the world has gone on with all of its sin, immorality, fornication, etc... This has been bottling up in Him and it's time for God to pour out His wrath.

The Bible tells us that all the people on the earth are going to worship the Antichrist except those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. We know the Mark of the Beast has already been enforced. When people take the Mark of the Beast, this Vial is going to be for them. It's going to be poured out on them which took the Mark of the Beast and worshiped his image.

A lot of people don't really understand the Book of Revelation. It is possible that people will take the Mark of the Beast and not even know it. That's one of the things that points out the importance of what I am doing here posting this blog every day. If you don't really understand how all this is coming down, you could find yourself sliding into this.

There cannot be anything more important. It appears, in my opinion, that we are between the 5^th and 6^th Trumpets right now. Consequently we are getting very close to the culmination of all these things. God put these things in the Bible because He knew how important it was going to be for us to know these things.

Sequence wise ~ we have established that the 1^st Vial will be poured out after the Mark of the Beast and that the Mark of the Beast will be enforced after the Abomination of Desolation (the event where the Antichrist is revealed).

The Abomination of Desolation is a specific time. We know exactly when it happens ~ half-way through the 7 year period. If we can define any event as being before or after the Abomination of Desolation, then we know if we are in the first 3 ½ year period or the final 3 ½ year period. If the event happens after the Abomination of Desolation, we know we are in the final 3 ½ year period between the Abomination of Desolation / the Rise of the Antichrist / the Battle of Armageddon. This really helps us to know the pouring out of the Vials is happening after the Abomination of Desolation.

A very important factor to this equation is that the Abomination of Desolation is when the Antichrist will be revealed and that the Mark of the Beast does not occur until after he is revealed. In order to get your Mark, you will have to pledge allegiance to the Antichrist; this one-world leader over the new-world order; over the world community; over maybe the UN or whatever the governmental structure is ~ the One-World Government. The Bible specifically states that he will be revealed at the time of the Abomination of Desolation. That helps us to understand exactly what is happening here.

Discussing further about the Mark of the Beast, Revelation 13:15 tells us:

“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”

It is important for you to understand that right before the Battle of Armageddon and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, there will be a one-world government established. There will be a politcal leader that will gain control of this one-world government. He will actually become the ruler of the world. He will dominate world affairs. This man is called by several different names in the Bible: Man of Sin / Son of Perdition / That Wicked One / The Little Horn / The Beast / The Antichrist. These terms are all synonyms.

We are talking about the image of this one-world leader ~ the Antichrist ~ which will eventually demand that all human beings on the face of the earth give their obedience and their allegiance to him.

Continuing on about the Mark of the Beast, let's look again at Revelation 14:9-10:

“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:”

The significance of this is that it is presenting the Wrath of God as a future event. We have verified this because the Mark of the Beast preceeds the Wrath of God. That is what this scripture is telling us.

The point is … in Revelation Chapter 6, it talked about the time of His wrath HAS COME. Now we are in Revelation Chapter 14 where it says that if anyone take the Mark and worship the Beast ~ if they buy into this one-world system ~ they SHALL drink of the wine of the Wrath of God. If the Wrath were poured out in Chapter 6 and here in chapter 14 we are speaking of it as a future event, this enforces our contention that the Book of Revelation is NOT in chronological order. It is in an order, but not chronological.

It's too late in the game to try to make the Bible say what we want it to say. We are living in a time when the one-world government is rising ~ when the one-world religion is rising ~ when the Antichrist is about to come on the scene. The day for playing church and playing religion is over. We must be totally sincere. We must love the truth more than we love our denomination or relatives. We must love the truth even more than we love our husband or wife. That is a very hard thing to do. But no matter what it is, we always have to put God first.

When it's your opinion ~ your theory ~ it's very, very important to you. You can't allow yourself to do that. You have to let God be true, and let every man be a liar. So as we continue to go through all this, really be honest in your heart.
