Part III ~ Lesson 7 of 8 – The Great Tribulation

The Sequence of Endtime Events

Equipping God's Saints (Followers of Christ) through the prophecies of the End Times …

First we will review the Timeline of the Seals, Trumpets and Vials that we have already established:

Now let's look at this same chart in a more simplified manner so we can compare it to Daniel's 70^th Week. We pick it up at the 6^th Trumpet / World War III ~ followed by the 5^th Seal / Souls under altar ~ followed by the End of the Tribulation / End of the Wrath of Satan which opens the Wrath of God ~ Then at the End of the Wrath of God, the 6th Seal / 7^th Trumpet / All 7 Vials are all opened and poured out. Looking at the elements of our simplified Timeline we see it like this:

Now we will review the Timeline we established for Daniel's 70^th Week. We will then relate the 2 Timelines together.

Daniel's 70^th Week Timeline begins with the Confirmation of the Covenant, which launches a time of Peace that will last for 3 ½ years ~ After those 3 ½ years, we have the Abomination of Desolation, which produces another 3 ½ years called the Tribulation ~ then the Great Tribulation ends. The Timeline for these elements looks like this:

Confirmation of the Covenant

3 1/2 years of Peace

Abomination of Desolationl

3 1/2 years of the Great Tribulation

Tribulation Ends

Looking at these 2 Timelines, we see a couple of common elements. We see the End of the Tribulation of both Timelines. We also see we have the 5^th Seal on one and the Abomination of Desolation on the other.

Now let's make a third Timeline that brings these two Timelines together.

We start out with the 6^th Trumpet ~ World War III and the Confirmation of the Covenant.

We know that one of these events will trigger the other. The Confirmation of the Covenant could land before the 6^th Trumpet War or after the 6^th Trumpet War. Keep in mind, the Confirmation of the Covenant has to do with the final status of Jerusalem. We know that the status of Jerusalem is under dispute right now. The Antichrist is apparently going to play some kind of a role in some Middle East peace agreement.

How will the Antichrist rise to power so fast in order to play a pivotal role in this time of the Confirmation of the Covenant? One big explanation would be that under World War III, 2 billion people will die. That is the type of event that could alter the mindset of the human race. What is the world going to be like the day after we realize we have killed 1 person out of 3 on this planet? We're talking about demonstrations like we've never seen before. There will be a mandate for peace from the people. They will demand peace. They will need some leadership that will change the way we run our world to make sure this never happens again.

We killed 8 million in World War I; We killed 52 million in World War II; Now we've killed 2 billion in World War III. The only thing left is to destroy the whole human race. We have the ability to do that.

The public outcry is we must have systems of global governance that can insure that we will not destroy ourselves. That will cause a cry for answers. That will be the perfect entrance ramp for the Antichrist to come to power.

After coming to power, he immediately moves to solve the most volatile problem on the face of the earth ~ the Middle East peace crisis.

We cannot prove this conclusively, but the most likely scenario is World War III and the 6^th Trumpet would be immediately before the Confirmation of the Covenant. That will blend us right into the final 7 years, which is started by the Confirmation of the Covenant.

The merged timelines of the Seals, Trumpets and Vials and Daniel's 70^th Week looks like this:

The Conformation of the Covenant happens either before or after the 6^th Trumpet. We then move into the 3 ½ years of Peace.

Then we move into the Abomination of Desolation, which could very well be the same event as the 5^th Seal, however the scripture does allow for the possibility for the 5^th Seal event of the Souls under the altar crying out for avenge to take place during the Great Tribulation. We are very close with these timelines. We can't tell you for certain that the 5^th Seal happens right at the time of the Abomination of Desolation. If it does not happen then, it will happen shortly thereafter, but it has to be right there in that vicinity. We are very close to being able to understand how all these events are going to be able to converge together.

The Abomination of Desolation then launches the 3 ½ year period of the Wrath of Satan.

After the 7 year period is over ~ After the Wrath of Satan ~ we move into the Wrath of God. The 7^th Trumpet begins to blow; The 6^th Seal is opened; All 7 Vials are poured out at the end of the 3 ½ year period of the Wrath of Satan.

Something you need to keep very clear in your mind is … Even though the Wrath of Satan looks pretty close to the same length of time as the Wrath of God, that's really not true. The Great Tribulation is 3 ½ years, where the Wrath of God is going to be a very short period of time.

The next question we want to deal with is “Why did we place the 6^th Trumpet before the 5^th Seal?” In other words, “How do we know the 6^th Trumpet will happen, for certain, before the Abomination of Desolation?”
