Part 4 – The Antichrist and The False Prophet

Equipping God's Saints (Believers of Christ) through the Prophecies of the End Times …

We're continuing our study about the Antichrist and the False Prophet. The political leader and the religious leader that the Bible specifically says will rule the world during the endtime One-World Government. The political leader will be the Antichrist and the spiritual leader, the False Prophet.

We have covered 10 specific clues given to us in the Bible for identifying the Antichrist. The 11^th clue we have is he will honor the God of Forces. Daniel 11:38 tells us that and Daniel 11:31 says:

“And arms shall stand on his part.”

Gun control will undoubtedly be one of the primary goals of the Antichrist because it is one of the primary goals of the U.N. By now all of you have heard, “the force be with you.”

The Bible also says the Antichrist will be a great prometor of change. Daniel 7:25 says:

“And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws:”

The message of the Antichrist will be Change...Change...Change. Everything must change.

The 13^th clue is an interesting one. Daniel 11:37 says:

“Neither shall he [the Antichrist] regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.”

He is going to be quite an egotistical leader. But the key phrase here is “he will not regard the desire of women.”

Many people have immediately jumped to a conclusion that means he's going to be a homosexual. It may mean that, on the other hand, perhaps not.

What's the traditional desire of women in the Bible? If you'll study through the Bible, it was always the desire of women to have children. In the Bible we have many examples of women who prayed for a child. They yearned for a child.

We know that one of the greatest planks in the platform of the world government agenda is population control. We know that in China, they have a “one child” policy. You're not allowed to have more than one child.

It could be that the Antichrist will actually make the “one child” policy a world wide policy. We don't know that for sure, but it's interesting to think about it and it's a very strong possibility that that is what is going to happen.

Clue 14: The Bible tells us that the number of his name will be 666. Revelation 13:18 says:

“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count [or calculate] the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

This is Old English language. Threescore is 60 so the number is 666.

We seriously doubt that they are going to stamp 666 on hand or your forehead because the scripture here says, “let him that hath understanding count, or calculate, the number of the beast.”

Revelation 15:2 says that, “It will be the number of his name.” We'll get more into this when we have a lesson exclusively on the mark of the beast. But this will be one of the identifying factors about the Antichrist. The number of his name will somehow add up to 666.

Another thing that is going to be outstanding about this world dictator called the Antichrist is he will be promoted by a religious partner. The most powerful religious leader on earth will support him and influence the world to follow him. This particular person will be called the False Prophet.

You've got the Antichrist and the False Prophet. That's exactly what's going to occur as the Antichrist comes to power. He will have the support of this religious leader.

The Antichrist is coming. He will be revealed soon. Without a doubt, he's somewhere on this earth right now.

We can be among those who understand the prophecies, the signs of the times. We can know when he is revealed. There will be people who know very well exactly who he is.

As we continue on, we're going to take a look at the False Prophet. I told you earlier that the Antichrist is covered in Revelation 13: 1-8. In Revelation 13:11-15 we look at the religious partner of this world dictator and in the Bible he is called the False Prophet.

The False Prophet is going to be the most famous and the most well-liked religious leader on the planet. He is going to use his religious influence to tell everybody that this world government is good. This New World Order is good and this man, this world dictator, is a wonderful gift from God.

He will not call him the “Antichrist”. He won't call him the “Beast” or the “Man of Sin” or the “Son of Perdition”. He's going to exalt him, enhance him and influence the world to follow him. Revelation 13:11 says:

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns [remember, the other beast had seven heads and ten horns] like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”

What a paradox here. You know, in the Bible usually when you think “lamb” you think “good”. Jesus Christ, himself, was called the “Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world”. However, this second beast looks like a lamb, but looks can be deceiving. He looks like a lamb, but he spake as a dragon.

Who is the dragon in the Bible? In Revelation 12:9 it talks about that dragon, the old serpent, the devil and Satan.He looks like Jesus Christ, but he speaks like the devil. He's a prophet, but he's a False Prophet.

The False Prophet is going to influence the world to follow the Antichrist. We read about it in Revelation 13:12-13:

“And he [the False Prophet] exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast [the Antichrist], whose deadly wound was healed.

And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,”

Think about the most influential religious leader you can think of right now. Can you imagine what would happen if he was shown on television worldwide, pulling fire down from heaven? How will you and I react when we see with our own eyes, a man pulling down fire from heaven?

People are going to weep. People are going to worship. People are going to dance and rejoice. This is amazing! This is a work of God in the earth. BUT... He will be the False Prophet!

How are we going to keep from being deceived by this person? There is only one way. Jesus told us in John 5:39:

“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”

It doesn't matter what kind of miracle someone does. God's able to perform true miracles. But the Bible says that this False Prophet will be giving deceiving signs and lying wonders.

We better know our Bible. We better understand God's Word so we can know the truth from the false ~ a True Prophet from a False Prophet.

This False Prophet, when he pulls fire down from heaven, is going to gain tremendous influence in our world and he is going to use that influence to say, “Support the One-World Government. Support Globalization, the New World Order and the head of the New World Order, the Antichrist.”
